Loop Bands

These mini bands are great for rehab/prehab. You can loop them around your wrists, right above your knees, or at your ankles while performing basic movements.

Resistance Bands

I use resistance bands nearly every time I workout because they’re so diverse. You can use them to warm up, stretch out, assist with pull ups, overload on squats or deadlifts, create more tension on certain exercises, etc.

SlingShot Hip Circle

The Hip Circle can be used for hip and glute activation/strength as well as a dynamic warm up. Simply put the hip circle around your knees and go for a long stride walk or do some bodyweight squats. While the Hip Circle looks similar to the simple loop bands, this provides a lot more resistance, making it perfect for priming your lower body.

Foam Roller

You’ll find foam rollers at nearly every gym, but they’re also a great tool to keep at home/work if space allows. Because of the large surface area, you can use the foam roller to “roll out” tight muscles. Read more here!

Lacrosse Balls

Similarly to a foam roller, a lacrosse ball can be used to roll out tight muscles, but these are especially useful in pinpointing smaller muscles in your upper back, chest, or glutes. They’re cheap, effective, and small enough to carry with you anywhere on-the-go!

Hypervolt

While I typically recommend for my clients and friends to learn how to stretch, prime their bodies, and use foam rollers/lacrosse balls first, a massage-gun can provide added relief. My top recommendation is the Hypervolt!

Lifting Belt

If you’ve already built a solid foundation in learning compound movements and you’re on your way to lifting heavier weights, a lifting belt is essential to protecting your low back. I prefer using a lever belt simply for the ease of use, but they also come in a single or double prong option. Learn more about when and how to use a lifting belt here.

Soft Lifting Belt

If you need light support or simply want a belt to help cue your bracing, a soft belt will do the trick. Additionally, these can be especially useful if you’re Olympic weightlifting or participating in more dynamic strength sports.

SlingShot Gangsta Wraps

Whether you’re benching, Olympic weightlifting, or doing overhead presses, wrist wraps provide great stability and protection for your wrists. I’ve used a multitude of different wrist wraps in my lifting career, but these SlingShot Gangsta Wraps are my favorite because they’re durable and top-notch quality.

Knee Sleeves

Knee sleeves provide support, warmth, and compression which may be beneficial for you during intense lower body exercises.
